You’ve seen the memos, heard the debates, and probably have some strong feelings yourself. The shift to remote work wasn’t just about changing our work location – it was a lifestyle overhaul. Childcare routines, personal commitments, and even where some of us live have been tailored for working from home. The idea of just flipping a switch back? It’s just not that simple.

But here’s the real question: Can we just stick to Teams meetings or Zoom calls forever? I’ve been pondering this question a lot lately. As leaders, we’re constantly rethinking how to connect, how our teams interact, and how work gets done. And here’s a piece of the puzzle we shouldn’t overlook: the serendipity factor.

Why Onsite Matters
